I think you've got your numbers a bit wrong (or should I say a bit misleading as the guy who is asking is a novice).

20 -30 Hrs per bore I'd agree with but that equates to 13-20 Race weekends (assuming 40 mins per Sunday race day and the same for the Saturday practice)

I wouldn't go much above 10hrs for the big-end which is 5ish race meetings( or should I say weekends)
