The 'slidy' engine mounts are good but do have certain drawbacks.

The bolt that goes into the thinner part of the slide, can strip in the soft aluminium.

So don't heave on the bolts to the Nth degree, as the plate has a large contact surface with which to grip with.

The engine backstop may not clear the bottom slider if the top mount is pushed further forward than the rear of the bottom plate.

They do make adjusting the chain tension a dream though, as the tension doesn't vary when the bolts are nipped up, providing you haven't undone the 'slidy' bit too far.
