Hi,
It's a project which involves me finding a way to solve the problem of brake fade in a hydraulic system of which i have chosen the example of a karting brake system.
What is required is for me to outline basic restrictions of working temperatures. Which when i find an idea for cooling the brake system i am able to put this against figures to ensure any materials i use will be able to cope with the loads and temperature etc.
An idea was to try and further vent any components to increase heat dissipation. therefore i need to know the max working temp, to know what material may be better.
It is whether i try and battle against brake fade, by cooling the braking components to ensure the reservoirs do not absorb the heat or make a system for the fluid to travel whilst cooling of which calculations must be taken into account.
At the moment it is knowing what to find since i am quite inexperienced in this field.
