Rendall, pipe nipping works SUPERBLY on direct drive karts and those with VERY small 'float chambers' (Tillotsons and WalBros).

However, the Max doesn't fit that description. The advantages of doing it with a LARGE float chamber is greatly reduced and the potential of the engine stopping completely which could be catestrophic as engines with a clutch will LET it.... which it can't with a Direct Drive.

D.D. kart drivers only need to release the pipe to re-start the motor as they are STILL 'rolling'..... you can't DO that with a clutched engine!

Be CAREFUL nipping that pipe!
