You should be OK even if you buy a batch. At the last change (SL7-SL6) we had 1/2 year grace on SL7's before they were fully replaced in July.
I suspect if anything gets introduced at this late stage will be at least the same settlement.

I for one wouldn't mind if they brought the SL7's back overnight! Would have them back any day!
