Most interestingly, that's a PERFECT demonstration of the reasons why the clutch, when it's working, is NOT a disadvantage, but holds the potential to ELIMINATE you from a race at other times.

If there WERE any real RACE advantages to using one, you could excuse the 'down side' of potential failure with the 'upside' of improved performance. However, while there IS no 'upside'................
