I was speaking to a man who imports chassis.

One of his customers bought a brand new 07 chassis at the start of last year, and another one half way through the year.

NO TIME DIFFERENCE AT ALL!!!

He then bought a 2008 chassis at the start of this year.

NO TIME DIFFERENCE AT ALL!!

How can people say they need two brand new chassis a year, every year, when there is a homologation period of three years in some classes, meaning that the chassis' DO NOT CHANGE FOR THREE YEARS!!!

I tested a 2007 chassis back to back with a 2004 chassis. three tenths of a second difference. Now whilst I appreciate that three tenths is alot in a competitive championship, only three tenths of a second between three years!!! Hardly worth buying a new chassis. A slightly different line can gain or lose three tenths of a second!
