Stig, you say “far less complaining than 2strokes” unless it’s talking about PFI pro-karting or RPM engines.
bertie77, you say “So why can't the governing bodies change the rules to reduce the costs?” they can, but you must remember that the karting industry are represented on national committee’s and lobby the governing bodies.
You also say “And telling me to bugger of to the 4stroke forum is a very elitist attitude” you may not be religious man but you are certainly a mind reader LOL
Seriously though, you argue for less cost but then say you could not manage the cost of Tyro and have moved to pro-karts yet to win in pro-karts is not cheap with the engine costs from the above supplier? Now if it’s the case that you are not out to win then why not stick with corporate hire karts which can be used whenever the funds are available but have no on-going costs to you.
