With very light drivers, I don't think it hurts to have some lead in front of the fuel tank because usually that are shorter, so because they will have shortish legs, the naturally don't have as much weight over the front wheels as a more average sized driver. We fit 4kg, on the floor tray, hard up against the front of the fuel tank, The remainder of the lead we place on the seat. Aiming, as far as possible, to compensate for the offset weight of the engine. So assuming I was fitting 16kg, it would be something like: 4kg on the floor tray hard up against the front of the fuel tank. 4kg on the non engine side of the seat. 4kg on the back of the seat, non engine side 2kg on the engine side of the seat 2kg under the centre front groin bulge of the seat
If you need more than that, add 1kg to each location and ensure a straight back when you lift the kart 😂
