Steady now!.....Alan - go and check your rotax float heights and calm down mate!
Am I allowed to ask, how accurate are these tyre sniffers?......cadets has been rife with allegations of tyre softener used at club level racing, and I can only see it (the allegations) getting worse in 2018 with some clubs allowing only 2 sets of cadet SL2 tyres for the full season.
I know the Digatron dielectric fuel sniffers are a pukka piece of kit, but I believe its still only for indication, if it throws up a suspicious result then a fuel sample needs to be sealed up and taken to an FIA accredited fuel analysis laboratory for a definitive analysis.
My point being, is that the way it works with the tyre sniffer too? if the sniffer detects something, are the tyres sent off to a lab, or are you disqualified at the event?
