I respect your opinion Alan, but I am neither, very easy to label someone a moaner after they have left to race at a better circuit, but I had my fill of rye after my son rolled his kart in a practice session due to the circuit letting seniors practice with cadets, this broke my sons arm into 4 pieces, then he rolled again on MSA race day on a rolling start around stadium, the owners of Rye circuit stance is well known, they make decisions and implement them, they even said this at a committee meeting once, they dont like being told what to do on their own premises, I suspect a contributing reason they were keen to get rid of the MSA.
The sooner Warren Scott can take over Rye, it will then be taken to the next level that it needs to go to, at the moment its just a corporate karting money printing machine, the stance at Rye is "mind your own business" so thats exactly what I did.
Many people walked as the circuit is poorly run, with questionable safety standards....one of my ProKart customers recently knocked himself unconscious on the RHPK race around stadium bend, I'm sure that was just considered normal......looking at the grids at Rye IKR, they are just mostly (not all) the likes of people that would normally be running at Tilbury practice days, I dont see any names there, but I guess thats an area of the market that needs catering for and if its profitable and easy money for rye, then why not.
