Do you have D and 2 on the display? If not you need to get into the setting menu by pressing and releasing the left hand button 5 times. Then 1 press and release on right hand button. Press left hand button and you are on 'page'7. Press right hand button to change from M to D. Press left hand button to move on to 'page' 8.Press right hand button to select 2 irrespective of engine type.Press left hand button to move to 'page'9. Set to 1 bar wih right hand button. Then move through menu pages with left button till you come back to first display with STOP in middle and start your tests. The unit may be faulty of course but the above is how mine responds.
