sorry thats not actually the case, if you want a new "monster" motor capable of running at the front, then be prepared to part company with a minimum of Ł2500. A top new motor demands top money from the main tuner, I know this is a fact as I know a few people that got sucked into paying it.....again, each to their own and all that.

also the 5th point which I forgot to say earlier is: I was sick and tired of being charged for carb cleans and gasket kits which were blatantly not done or fitted to the engine, they just served the purpose of inflating the final bill.

The dyno I used is publicly available and advertised on ebay, any punter can use it for Ł25 per hour, its nothing unique to me, many cadet and pro-karters use it.

totally agree with the top engine perceptions, like you said before, having a big motor is not a right of passage, my understanding why Harry Thompson is so successful is because his sector times are within 0.1 second consistency, other drivers are typically 0.3-0.4 seconds consistent.....you cant but that from an engine builder!

yeah, agree again, I'm just working with what I have and keeping it in good health, works for me also.
