I doubt any of the importers will be able to help you given that you didn't buy the suit from them. And indeed why should they?

There are quite a few Grey Market Sparco suits floating around where retailers have bought them from other retailers on the Continent and avoided the usual channels, in which case Sparco themselves may back away as well.

There isn't a Sparco UK as such any more to the best of my knowledge.

As far as professional reports are concerned, I've been retailing racewear for over 30 years and I wouldn't put my name to your claim. Without seeing it rip I couldn't guarantee your side of the story.

You're doing the right thing but I'm afraid it is always a case of caveat emptor - buyer beware. Some days you get a bargain on eBay, some days it goes s--- shaped. The only guarantee is to buy from a major retailer who has a clearly stated returns policy.
