If you've no strong preference regarding class, I'd make my decision entirely on the grid size wherever you are wanting to race.

My impression is that class numbers have stablized this year: the X30 push has levelled off somewhat, the Rotax customers who were leaving because of the engine situation have already done so and TKM is what it has always been: strong at the big three clubs and hanging in there elsewhere.
