I believe that the MSA does not have the power to stop new classes although they can refuse to allow a new class to have an official national championship (is it a three year restriction at the moment?)
As for X30 killing off Rotax and making the equipment worthless, surely this is down to customer choice. Why did drivers opt to move to X30? If Rotax drivers were happy with the class then there should still be good grids.
