Hi Dogman,

I can assure you that the Alpha Timing live timing works 100% perfectly. It has been stress tested many times and architected specifically for high throughput, low bandwidth and low latency.

If there is ever an issue with the live timing not updating properly it is ALWAYS down to the internet connection.

Gone are the days, more than 2 years ago, when we had any problems with the live timing. It has bedded down, it has matured. And we've got updates coming on the way that will give you more insight into the racing than any other system on the market.

Finally, you're probably not aware of the huge amount of work that the comp sec and time keepers do behind the scenes. Alpha has been designed from the ground up to make it incredibly easy to administer and setup events, saving those important people hours of work preparing for each meeting.

It is this that makes the whole of the Alpha Timing package so convincing that two circuits moved away from Tag this year to Alpha and I know that both of those clubs would be more than happy to vouch for us.

Perhaps a question titled, "why was the live timing at XXX club jumping around this weekend?" and perhaps you might get a more constructive response.
