Just a thought for all you guys complaining. Supposed TVKC do restrict the number of entries so you get an extra 8 minutes track time. 1. Do you think they'd keep the price the same or would they raise it knowing that their grids are over subscribed? 2. Say it's limited to grids of 35, all the big teams block book for the season (because they can) and the little guys are squeezed out. Is that going to improve things or make them cheaper?
It's a bit of a thankless task running kart events nowadays. You have massive grids - people complain they don't get as much track time You have small grids - people complain that another track has bigger grids so coerce people elsewhere You run the meeting in good time - people complain the meeting felt rush You run the meeting at a relaxed pace - people complain that they were sat around when the races could've been longer
If you have a good day karting, you'll go home, have your roast dinner and a beer. If you have a bad day karting, you'll get straight online to post a rant somewhere.
