I don't usually release interviews until a programme airs, but this one is with Sam Webster who half way through goes on to talk about the reasons junior drivers, including those who want to race cars, should stay in karting to experience the KZ1 class. Sam is planning to move to the USA next year to race cars having spent two years in the KZ1 class. In my opinion he is a major talent who could easily replicate what other British drivers have done, going on potentially to win the Indy 500. As someone that could have easily left years ago to pursue a car racing career, that in itself should make his advice all the more pertinent.

Now....if only I can get Mr Fletcher to understand how allowing KZ1 as a class to race within the S1 championship at the best karting facility in the country would help keep people in karting for longer..... If only.....sigh.
