Dear Itpro! Instead of trying to 'Defend the indefensible' on here I wonder if you could give some thought to the ongoing problems of 'TKM racer' and others with the Walbro carb. on the 2/ forum. I do seem to remember some general views from you on this device from the past. TKM racer runs the latest V clutch version of the extreme which engages at 3500- 6000 rpm.and is having difficulty in getting the engine to run reliably at revs low enough to disengage the clutch. Now I know that you will tell him to ditch the clutch and run dd.but....Somebody has wandered off with my collection of Walbros but it seems to me that the thing has no proper idle/ progression system as you would find on a Tillotson. Any useful comments appreciated.
