What is true is that if you get Dot 4 for example on the master cylinder cap it will remove the printing on the label which says use only Dot 5 !. Dot 4 will not cause the m/cyl.cap seal to swell 'like a mushroom' as you have stated earlier and after 10 + years using Dot 4 in 2 separate Kelgate systems I am still waiting for any ill effects to become apparent,other than those associated with the pad shape.Since you appear to be the PR agent for Kelgate on here could you please be more specific regarding the problems I can expect in due course. Thanks.
