F1 is currently finding iteslf in the same situation over the Bianchi crash, and the Senna incident 20 years before is quite thought provoking......sooner or later it was going to happen, and all the near misses were ignored.......we all need to be more pro-active and learn from any near-miss event for the benefit and safety of everyone......for me this is an easy issue to fix, and the solutions are readily available.......nomex clothing + roll-over fuel vent one-way valve.......simples, but I'm sure it will take the MSA a minimum of 2 years to react
