I had a good chat with various TKM and X30 drivers yesterday at Whilton. Thanks for all the input/advice. Sounds like X30 is great at the moment with very level engine performance and high driving standards however with people moving from rotax into the class next year this might change. TKM is clearly cheaper to run but the starting and troublesome carbs are a bit of a put off.
What are these 'stands' that some TKMs use at the start to lift the rear wheels?

Can someone tell me the overall width of both the TKMs and X30 and also their width without wheels - I need to know if they will fit in my existing trailer.
We will likely go for a test in both at Whilton over the holidays.
