My advice would be JTKM. My lad was over weight limit for Comers towards the end of last year so we made the jump although he was only 11 at the time. No looking back, he really enjoys it even though he's now mid field rather than top three! Easy to look after, simple cheap engines (no water cooling, jetting etc), tyres last well at our local track (Rowrah) around 4 meetings or more, and extremely friendly and helpful competitors. The driving standards are definitely better too from our experience, although we don't venture far at the moment so that may vary around the country. Probably something to do with not having a clutch!
