I've been doing a lot of looking into Biland stuff, and its occurred to me that the Americans and Australians have a class called 'TAG xxxx' - am i missing something here, but why haven't we got this class in the UK?
My understanding is the engine spec is presented at the beginning of the year and restrictions are determined based on power outputs etc produced by each engine to make things fair? No ones engine then becomes obsolete, everyone can race their engines in the class... they even allow 2 strokes and 4 strokes to mix?
Now i know there's purists out there that want things to go back to pure 100cc/125cc carb tuning mid straight 20k screamers as the national championships... but when the national championships seem to be going Kaput because no one wants to shell out the initial set-up money on something thats not 100% set in stone, a class where they can 'give it a shot' with their original equipment rather than needing to get all new equipment, surely we need to be copying the others on this one?
Just a thought... a national champ i can race a biland in sounds good to me...
