I was up at turn one taking photos when Harry had his crash in the Mini Max final. My photos show that it was caused through loading on the inside line,just like you see at PF, Shenny etc how can this be stopped, cameras, helicams ? His right foot was high in the air on off the brake pedal, so his kart didn't slow down and unfortunately went into the conveyer belt holding the tyres pretty hard. The very experienced clerk at the corner was on the floor next to the driver within seconds comforting him and radioing for the red flag, that was a brilliant effort. Luckily Harry was fine although pretty sore.
There were similar loading crashes all day at hairpin one, maybe it was because there were no Go-Pros present and it was harder to spot the offenders ? I can't help feeling it was early season mischief, once they have raced against each other a few times they will calm down, meanwhile a stern Clerk of the course talking too would help !
