Buzz MBKC are actually putting back into karting what you feel is missing on race weekends. A try a drive kart will be available shortly for the cadet aged group and later Jnr/Snr's to try during the Saturday,poss Sun race day lunch break for a nominal £5 a go. Help will be available to source reasonable condition and priced pre owned equipment for the less well off karters, with special offers on drivers personal safety equipment from Zip North's Ian Shaw. A number of enquiries have come in from disabled youngsters parents whose children have various limb/mobility problems who after reading of Brians success as an "ENABLED" driver and recent 2nd place in the Rotax Masters class has inspired them. On hearing this KARTFORCE UK who will be running a diabled forces team at the 3 Sisters Feb Enduro are offering MBKC one of their special MSA approved steering "wheels" in the hope it will help a kiddie get out and experience karting. Located on the Wirral a chassis straightening/truing service will be available soon,also chassis repairs(not £30 to weld 2 floor tray brackets back on !!) and lathe work,turning/machining etc.. Lad and dad teams will be encouraged and help provided with their equipment/advice... FREE at MBKC.. Point proved today,ex team driver going it alone,2 secs faster after help and advice from one of the MBKC Acadamy mentors,how can you put a price on that !!!. Just an example of what is being put BACK into clubbie karting by some people without monetory gain.
