Very interesting post as after quite a few years away from karting I am considering getting back into it though KGP. It sounds like a good class to get into and I like the level playing field.

Maybe I am a bit naive but I didn't really understand the point about Rotax monster engines etc. Being a sealed class are all the engines not supposed to be pretty similar? I would have thought that an unsealed class would give more scope for variation between engines on the grid. Why would some people get access to better engines in Rotax than others?
