We went the same route and did allof the above plus:

saved 2kg by correct choice of race suit.
0.9kg going to a carbon seat
More by correct choice of fuel tank
Ivory coloured plastics can save up to 2kg; (how do you think they get the colour in there?)
Aluminum side pod bars (may not be feasible nowadays)
Tie wrap the rear number plate; saves the nut& bolt.

Stay with the best helmet you can afford but lose the paint job: ŁŁŁ and 75gms

Do not be tempted by titanium bolts.

Get the driver into some appropriate exercise regime....cardiovascular; no weights, (puts weight on).

Count down the days until you can move up.
