if the sport is to survive it needs to get better!
needs the bad driving standards, the bullying, the bad engine builders,the cheating,the bad teams, weeding out,
after 50 years the magazine is closing down, why? is it because the sport is getting bigger? the driving better? more honesty drawing people in?
no. it is the mass hypocrisy, the blatent 2 faced ness, the back stabbing.
the magazine is bought by parents wanting to see their kids name in press, that's all! I do not have the answers someone will ? it needs more glam, more chassis tests,suit tests, helmets? spending a weekend with team A ,B, C ,value for money tests?
same with this web site, we all find the costs of karting hard, why not more videos, info, etc, showing people chassis set up, engine servicing , good things they have found out at tracks or with tyres, race videos, a gallery,etc etc at the moment it is just a place to b"tch and moan (me included,because of all the 2 faced ness at tracks and no one can ever speak out!) I am more than happy to share ANYTHING I have learnt or learnt not to do involved with karting and karts,but I have a good driver so I have nothing to be afraid of!! lol
