There were some reports of dodgy cadet slicks a few weeks ago on here - has anyone experienced bad sets recently and if so did you get any resolution from Andersons?

Bought a new set of cadet SL3 at the weekend to put on for Sunday's race.
Could not get any performance all sunday but because they were stamped we were stuck with them.
Nothing else has changed - the kart/engine hasn't been on track since the last race at the same track, conditions were similar and yet we were nearly a second down on pace all day only in the final getting to within 7ths of our usual pace. Also seemed to get a lot of pickup on them as well.
We used old tyres (5+ races) on the sat practice and were a tenth quicker than the new rubber!!??

It could just be the mushy bit behind the wheel but looking at his lines and driving we couldn't see him losing that much pace!
