Absolutely agree with you and Paul about what is and is not acceptable. The problem is that if you accept that `some' contact is almost inevitable then the prob lem for the officials is dec iding where the offence lies. If you are very lucky then someone will have a clear v iew of the entire incident but more often they only see part of it - puit in a report and then CoC has to hear both driver's views. If the drivers were encouraged by their parents/teams to tell the truth then perhaps it would get better. Far more cameras and extra officials may well help but there is a cost to that. Clubs might be willing to invest if enough members wanted it but at most agm's it is only the commuittee that attends, Bodywork is for safety but some people who raced without have argued that it also prevented some of the moves we see now simply because it would have been too dangerous for both drivers.
