Proposed Regulations for 2013
Bambino’s, Class D
2 Classes
1. Bluebird. Sprocket Sizes – 9T Front/74T Rear
2. Comer. Sprocket Sizes – 10T Front/86T Rear
- Only engines using standard carburettors and standard exhaust systems (standard to be defined).
- Classes to race together for separate championships.
- Standing starts.
- Tyres – Slicks, Dunlop SL3 – Wets, Dunlop KT3.
Cadet’s, Class C
1 Class
- Engine choice from IAME, Comers W60/S60, Honda Cadet(MSA), WTP.
- Only engines using standard carburettors and standard exhaust systems.
- Minimum driver/kart weight to be 99Kg at end of race.
- * New MSA restrictor rule may be implemented during the year.
- Standing starts.
- Tyres – Slicks, Dunlop SL3 – Wets, Dunlop KT3.
Junior 2 Stroke, Class A1
- Junior drivers up to 18 years of age.
- Minimum driver/kart weight for Rotax engines (and others) to be 148Kg at the end of the race.
- No minimum weight for Junior Formula TKM clutched engines.
- Standing starts.
Senior 2 Stroke, Class A2
- Senior drivers from the age of 15 yrs of age.
- Minimum driver/kart weight of 160 Kg.
- Engine choice of Rotax 125 Max, IAME Formula Blue, KGP, Parilla Leopard, Vortex ROC 125.
- Standing starts.
Senior 2 Stroke Direct Drive, Class E
- Senior drivers from the age of 15 yrs of age.
- Minimum driver/kart weight to be agreed.
- Engine choice of TKM, Formula Blue, 100 cc Reed/Rotary (water-cooled engines)
- Rolling starts.
Senior 4 Stroke, Class B
- Classes as per 2012.
- Minimum weights for all classes to be 185Kg .
- Standing starts.
General Regulations
- Champions will be entitled to run the No. 1 plate if remaining in the same class.
- All karts to display numbers on side and front.
- Final grid positions to be aggregate of heats not the result of 2nd heat as in 2012.
- Driver discipline to be rigorously enforced.
- Any 3rd party involvement during or after race will result in the driver being excluded.
- Championship Registration required of £10 for 2013.
- Front wheel braking not allowed.
- Roadside Pump Fuel only. (No AVGAS)
