Based on 2 engines and them being fiched, it's looking like it is £2500 minimum to move to IAME.
It would be great to try and run one engine at club level, and easykart teams do manage with one engine. However in that series should you have any problems, the easykart organisers lend you a complete kart.
I'm also wondering whether we will achieve closer performance engine to engine. As I delved into the easykart technical regulations for cadet, there were quite a few sentences in bold characters, that gave the impression to me where some teams may have been attempting to gain additional performance. Clearly in these regulations, any suspicions are quickly dealt with by easykart organisers to ensure a level playing field. However do you think at club level an unsealed engine can be policed effectively amongst IAME runners or are we likely to see diverging performance as existed with the Comer?
