As is usual with motorsport shows: It's who you get to talk to rather than what you get to look at. Spent all day Sunday there and had a great time. Talked to lots of people, spent some money and learned a few things.
Not sure about the change of venue though. Cleaner, smarter, motorsport heritage and feel, but the catering facilities weren't a patch on the Ricoh and a shuttle bus service can never be as good as parking right outside. Doing the workshops (and medicals) on mezzanine floors above the main show rather than in separate rooms wasn't ideal either due to the noise from below. Oh, and queuing outside to get in because there wasn't a separate lobby area to buy tickets.
Still enjoyed it, and thanks to Martin for the effort that goes in to organising it. Will certainly be there again next year, just not sure the positives of Silverstone outweigh the negatives.
