No really sure what the gripe is here with most people - the MSA clearly flagged right at the start that they would slow down the Hondas and the Comers - and if you were sat in Hondas you would have to buy a new T2 and then restrict it. I am not sure why people are now getting all upset at this point. You can make a restrictor plate pretty easily if you want to test them before the MSA approved one comes out - and as Andy said, if everyone is in the same boat, then who cares?
I didn't want to buy two new Honda T2s (which for a decent one, will cost the same as a IAME) as I didn't want my son to start going slower as he gets older - so we have moved to IAME. Equality on engines (and lets be honest, the price of a good Honda is just ridiculous) is the most important thing - and say what you want - the IAME so far seems to be providing this.
