20 % If the restrictor is 16mm diameter in a 20mm opening, then that drops the surface area from about 314 to about 201 - that's a drop of more than 33% in space for air to go through.
Speaking to one engine supplier, they don't have restrictors available yet. I'd have hoped that the decision makers would have made sure that there was going to be stock available with which to test before the next season gets under way. I'm wondering if a proper manufacturing run will actually even get reasonable supplies out there for the first few club rounds of 2013. If that happens, what do clubs do? If it is known that restrictors haven't been available in significant numbers, does everyone run without?
It's rather odd, and quite unsettling.
