step 1: prepare tank use a mild detergent- you can use dedicated carb cleaner - most use a little washing up liquid- don't use anything aggressive and don't put solvents in Ultrasonic Cleaners If its a heated tank set it 80 deg C otherwise use hot water.
Step 2: Strip carb completly- remove fiber washers and gaskets( don't put these in the tank)
Step3: place all parts in the basket( I put small parts in the float bowl)
Step4: run for 20 to 30 minutes fully immersed
note some cleaners have a short maximun run time-
if you run over you will burn out the exciter.
Step5: remove parts dry with clean compressed air and only reassemble once everthing in bone dry.Don't forget to check your float heights and remember to put the floats in the correct way.
Check your fiber gaskets and washers and replace if required.
Wrap carb in cling film.
