I'd like to see the MSA's test data and the effect of the different restrictors tried vs the lap time to see what we are up against and what sort of performance degregation to expect.
While I really don't agree with the MSA on this one and think they should leave it well alone, i don't think it will level the playing field so that all engines have the same output. Faster engines will still be quicker than others, just not quite so quick overall.
What i'm more concerned with is that the MSA have issued this with about 6 weeks before it takes effect and haven't said where you can obtain these restrictors from, who makes them etc - do they have sufficient stocks to cater for all the honda racers ready for the 1st races in January? As this is being forced on us, are the MSA going to fun the cost of the restrictors or impose a price limit on manufacturers?
