How do you know it will ruin the class when none of you has run with the new restrictor?

The easykart cadet has a restrictor in the UK but not in europe and it has not ruined ther racing. The more experienced drivers still get to the front in UK races and also do well when they go to Italy for the world finals (or they did before the CIK stopped them going).

Maybe the MSA would take a petition more seriously if it was based on experience of racing with the restrictor. Claims that it will reduce engine life and put engine builders out of business seem a tad premature.
