Blimey...Here we go.....

THIS WAS INTENDED AS A BIT OF FUN AND EXTRA COMPETITION...... AND A WAY TO INCORPORATE A TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP WITHIN THE SERIES.

Nobody is going to get "ignored as a consequence".....there are NO consequences other than we will have something extra to talk about in commentary and provide a bit of extra competition, fun and excitement, especially as we approach the end of the season and driver champs are already decided before the last race (3 out of 4 this year decided before the last race), whereas the team championship may still be all to play for.

THAT'S IT.... DON'T OVERTHINK IT.... THERE'S NO AGENDA... IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT. The rules are all there in a few paragraphs.... not sure how that is overly complicated. Could maybe have fewer drivers (4 maybe?) so smaller teams have more of a chance, but in anything like this the larger teams will always have an advantage.

Drivers will get the same coverage as they do now..... that is not going to change. Drivers doing the winning get more coverage than drivers in the bottom half of the field.... that's just a fact in a 3/4 camera non-directed shoot where the majority of the coverage focusses on those towards the front, although we try as far as possible to film other battles where possible.

No reason why there can't be a team of dad and lads/Independents.

I have long since been thinking about organising a Super 1 fantasy karting competition..... I think I'll hold off on that one.
