Are you sure it's not inconsistency in the driver. So much of karting is in the head. Your driver may have just got it into his head that something is going to be better or worse and drive accordingly. Even a major setup change on a chassis shouldnt make or lose anything close to 2 tenths.

Your chassis may have well 'gone off' but even if it has I would say it is something different causing the inconsistency.
