Why are people so insistant on sticker kits?! I know they look pretty but they make no difference, they are expensive to replace and look pretty duff when tyre marks all over them.

I am selling a kart which has new brakes, New bearings all round, straight, cassis protectors, stripped and cleaned each meeting and if parts needed always OTK replacements. YET people lose interest when the kart hasnt got the stickers.

If a kart has been hammered week in week out by a lad doing all the super 1 rounds, club meetings etc but has the stickers this will go on the market for Ł100-200 more then a kart like mine which has been maintained at just the same level, used once a month for a year YET people lose interest because it has plain black bodywork which doesnt show the scuff marks and looks perfectly mean and fast as the other karts!

Very frustrating. i have even had people ask if i can knock Ł200 of so that they can put that money towards a sticker kit and pods. The sticker kits are only on there as an extra money spinner!! When the scrutiner is telling you to get a new nose cone because you have a hole in your own is that not a massive waste of a stickerd nose and pod?!
