Why is it a surprise the MSA would want to kill Comer racing? This ruling is just another knife in it.
But will Dads go new Parilla or Honda?
I agree in the ideal world you shouldn't have to run your engines before a race but unfortunately that's not the world the msa has given us.
For cadets, this ruling means unless you run with a team and have your carbs set on a Dyno for every weekend it will be impossible to be competitive with the new cadet engine. Mind you that's exactly what we have had with the Cadet British championship for the last 5 years and look how the numbers have fallen off the cliff.
I wonder if this new ruling had been in force when the tender for the new cadet engine was being decided would the parilla engine have won? Strikes me the Rotax cadet variant would have been the way to go.
Flight to Honda's next year me thinks!
