I noticed this on an ebay ad (from a dealer with nearly 4000 sales and 100% positive feedback!):

Rotax max crank cases for sale
Numbers have been removed as I have used them on another motor I have
To make legal you will need to retire a blown motor and use numbers off damaged cases

Hmmm...Anyone spot a problem with this?
I REALLY hope this is not legal - in the criminal sense as well as the MSA racing sense.
Not much point buying stuff if this is acceptable, as you won't keep it long.
