At Oulton Park my temperature gauge started fluctuating as if it were short circuiting (I got a peak instantaneous engine temp of 403ºC ) and in race 2 it gave up the ghost.

I found the wire was broken where it connects into the sender so got a new one. Anyway at race 2 in Silverstone it started doing the same. Its fine in the pits and when running up but its just when you're at speed on the track. The only other time I could get it to fluctuate occasionally during inspection was when fiddling the connection between the sensor wire and its connection to the extension lead that goes to the Mychron battery box.

Could this extension lead be at fault or is it something within the Mychron itself? I need it sorted for the GP as I dont want to be racing with a dodgy temp gauge.

Thanks
