One of the factors for stopping the points was that drivers doing a championship did not do club meetings for fear of getting points for minor incidents. The COC at club level need to be giving more 10 second penalties race exclusions or even the meeting if the incident requires it then there would be no need for points at all like abroad if you do wrong you get punished job done but someone losing their license for 3 months etc does not help karting or clubs.
