Hello

I have a twin engine GX160 prokart which I no longer use, I modified it so my son could reach the pedals / steering etc. he can drive it and flys round on a private drive without a problem.

A couple of days ago i said I would take him to my local test track and let him have a go on there, I rang them up to ask opening times etc and they asked what the kart he had, twin engined prokart i replied, the responce I got was oh NO he is not allowed as they consider the kart to be to heavy / big for a 12 year old and twin engine etc, I said well I will run it on 1 engine and they didnt want to know.

I have sold the kart to my sons disapointment and told him I will by a kart he can take and use.

My question is what kart to buy him?, the cadet karts seem small for him. we only want it for fun use not competing.

Any advice would be great.
