Without getting my kart lifted up(which I might try if I can find some willing volunteers) I would say you are probably correct itpro. I don't have heel rests fitted and never have done.

Can otk ones be fitted to a gillard chassis or will the cheep and cheerful plastic ones you get be my only option?

I was thinking about knee pads but would rather stop the problem rather than lessen the effects of it.
