As most of you know Mike jnr and I have been karting for the past 21 years, with a quite an amount of success.
As Mike jnr is concentrating on GT3 Sports car racing, this leaves me surplus to requirements.
Now i have written to most of the major karting teams, and generally put the word around that i am available for driver tuition and mechanicing.
Now the response has been, to put it politely disappointing.
This has led me to believe karting is suffering from ageism.
You simply have to be aged between 16 and 25 to get any work.
Nothing to do with experience.
Just a though, what do you think
